Lucerne
Desiree and Daniel spent some time in the charming town of Lucerne, a fairytale-like town surrounded by mountains and nestled beside a lake. With its historic charm and festive winter ambiance, Lucerne is the perfect introduction to Switzerland.

- Visit the Lion Monument: A quick stop to admire the famous rock relief, one of Switzerland’s most moving landmarks.
- Mt. Pilatus Excursion: A breathtaking gondola ride to the top of Pilatus awards you with panoramic views and a cozy mountain top restaurant.

Interlaken & Grindelwald
Interlaken is an adventure hub and short train ride away to scenic Grindelwald, a charming alpine village that serves as a gateway to Jungfraujoch, the Top of Europe.

Zermatt
A winter trip to Switzerland can’t be complete without a trip to Zermatt, home to the world-famous Matterhorn and some of Switzerland’s most luxurious ski resorts.
Where to Stay:
- If you’re up for snow sports, opt for a ski-in/ski-out resort with breathtaking views of the Matterhorn. Just check out this view Desiree & Daniel had!

What to Do:
- Skiing & Snowboarding: Spend a full day exploring Zermatt’s pristine slopes and blue sky views.
- Matterhorn Views: A highlight is taking the Gornergrat Railway to the best vantage point for Matterhorn photography.
